Legacy Boulevard District Roadway Improvements

Project Overview

The Town of Dedham was awarded a $1 million grant from the MassWorks Infrastructure Program under the FY25 Community One Stop for Growth in 2024. The grant will advance a Transportation Master Plan and Road Safety Audit funded by Legacy Boulevard property owners. The plan calls for a comprehensive set of public improvements to address traffic congestion and safety concerns of the Legacy Boulevard area and to allow for future growth of the area. The MassWorks funding will produce 100% engineering design specifications, permitting, and bid preparation to enable construction of the public improvements such as roadway widening, sidewalks, and utility upgrades. It is the Town’s intention to apply for future funding from the MassWorks Infrastructure Program for construction after the design is complete.
